This system consists of a tensioner wheel, a roller platform and a small control pedestal.

The tensioner wheel has a sloping surface for the umbilical cable to make a few wraps before spooling on the winch. As the winch pays in, the tensioner wheel resist the pull, creating tension.

The roller platform is strong and robust for carrying very heavy reel of umbilical cable in storage drum.
